Farmer’s Footprint
Project Overview
To translate Farmer’s Footprint Australia’s regenerative philosophy into two distinct but connected expressions: a public-facing cultural event that could inspire collective action, and a partner-facing investment narrative that could mobilise long-term financial participation in regeneration. The work needed to attract hearts and minds while also clearly articulating structure, credibility, and impact.

The Challenge
Farmer’s Footprint operates in a space that is emotionally charged, intellectually complex, and often crowded with surface-level sustainability messaging. The challenge was not simply to “look good,” but to communicate regeneration as a credible, hopeful, and actionable pathway rather than an abstract ideal or marketing trope.
RE:Connection 2023 needed to feel expansive and magnetic, more like a cultural gathering or movement than a conference. It had to speak across generations, welcome both seasoned advocates and curious newcomers, and signal depth without alienation. Visually, it needed to stand apart from conventional environmental branding while still maintaining clarity, legibility, and warmth.
In parallel, the Regeneration Allocation pitch deck required a different kind of persuasion. It needed to translate values into structure, ethics into governance, and intention into financial commitment. The challenge here was balance: to retain the poetic and relational language of regeneration while clearly outlining a professional, trustworthy framework that businesses could confidently align with. Both pieces had to feel connected to the same worldview, without collapsing into sameness.
The Strategy
We approached the project as a living system rather than a set of assets. The strategy was to create a shared conceptual language for regeneration that could flex across contexts, from public inspiration to private decision-making.
For RE:Connection 2023, we focused on positioning the event as a moment of convergence. The visual and messaging approach drew on the natural world without leaning into literalism, allowing space for interpretation, reflection, and curiosity. The design system was intentionally modular, enabling the content to evolve as speakers, performers, and partners were confirmed, while remaining cohesive across all digital touchpoints.
For the Regeneration Allocation pitch deck, the strategy shifted toward clarity and trust-building. We structured the narrative to guide potential partners through the “why,” the “how,” and the “what now” of participation. Regeneration was framed not as charity, but as a shared responsibility and opportunity to redefine the role of business in Australia’s future. Visually, the deck stood alongside Farmer’s Footprint’s core identity while establishing its own authority, signalling that this was a serious, long-term mechanism rather than a symbolic gesture.
Across both pieces, the unifying strategy was to treat regeneration as a relationship: between land and people, business and responsibility, intention and action.
